Personal Training for Back Pain Relief
Have you ever imagined what you can do without your back? As silly as the question might sound, whatever answer you provide to it will underline the importance your back has to the functionality of your whole body. At a point in your life, you might experience back pains, close to 80% of us do over our lifetime, either for a short time or a prolonged period. This is due to activities or inactivity, but it’s not all doom and gloom as there are treatments to combat it.
Studies have shown that back pain is the common cause of disability among young adults. Back pain has also been reported to be one of the causes of reduction in work hours.
At GoTherex, we have qualified therapists that know back pain treatments. They are available to help you cure your back pains and help you prevent them.

Personal Training for Back Pain Relief
Not all back pain treatments require a surgical procedure to treat. Most times, physical therapists can treat back pain.
At GoTherex, one of the treatments we try out is exercise. Our physiotherapists in Gainesville and other locations will recommend and help you monitor your exercise regime. We know what is suitable for each type of back pain.
Massaging the muscles can also help with back pain recovery when done by our therapists. Manipulation and mobilization of the back joints are also recommended ways to get relief from your back pain.
We also cater to patients that have undergone surgeries. Our specialists will not only help your recovery but ensure the prevention of reoccurrence.

Matt has not only trained me, but taught me how to do these exercises properly, be careful with my nutrition and just give me an overall great workout.

Matt Reuschle set me up on a workout program in August of 2020 and I have been working with him ever since. I feel the best I ever have. I have been exercising my whole life off and on but Matt’s program has made more of a difference in just a few months. I highly recommend him to my family and friends all the time.
Back Pain Causes
Inflammation
Inflammation can occur as a result of injury or disease. It is a natural way of reaction by your body’s immune system. When inflammation persists over a long period, it will result in lower back pains that could be unbearable at times.
Degeneration Caused by Age
Advancement in age causes wear and tear of discs. The density of bones is reduced, so also is the elasticity of muscles and ligaments.
Trauma
Trauma can be a result of muscle strain, ligament strain, poor posture, and disc herniation.
A muscle strain occurs when the muscles are overused, resulting in weakness and pains in the lower back.
Ligament strain causes backache, which is caused by exposure to an external force like collision or lifting heavy objects. This results in damages to the muscles and fascia.
Poor postural alignment like slouching or sitting hunched over a desk can cause stress to the disc that cushions your vertebrae. A repetition of this over the years will result in back pains.
Many things can cause disc herniation, but among them is a fall or an accident that impacts the discs. Lifting heavy objects incorrectly can also be responsible for disc herniation.
